Bexar County Tax Sales
Tax sales are held on the first Tuesday of each month starting at 10 a.m.
Bexar County tax sales are conducted at the Bexar County Courthouse, 100 Dolorosa, San Antonio, 78205.
Fill out this form and have it notarized and mail to Office of the Bexar County Tax Assessor-Collector, C/O Assessing Section, P.O. Box 839950, San Antonio, TX, 78283-3950.
You must also send in a check for $10, payable to: Albert Uresti, MPA, PCAC, Bexar County Tax Assessor-Collector.
Allow 10 days to process the request. Once the form has been received and you are verified as eligible to participate in the tax sale, you will be mailed a Bidder's Certificate, which is valid for 90 days.
You may also apply for the Bidder's Certificate in person by going to the Bexar County Tax Assessor-Collectors Office at 233 N. Pecos la Trinidad, 2nd floor.
To register to bid in a tax sale, you must take this Bidder's Certificate to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Judicial Services Section, at 200 N. Comal in San Antonio.
You may not register the day of the sale. You must register for each sale; registering for one does not carry over to another sale.
